Refund Policy
Highlight Investments Group provides stock market education
and information services over the Internet. Given the specific nature of these
services, cancellations or returns cannot be refunded, nor can products be
exchanged.
The practice of claiming a refund after having used any of our
member services (i.e., accessing our members' area in order to see members only
content, such as charts, signals, market data, the Daily Market Outlook, email
alerts, and any other associated information) is considered fraudulent.
When a Subscriber requests service termination, subscription
fees (whether full or partial) are not refunded. Subscribers are liable for
charges incurred by them until termination of service.
NO REFUNDS will be issued for reactivated, cancelled,
transferred, or upgraded accounts.
If a subscriber signed up for a product because of a
misunderstanding, or by error, he/she has 24 hours after being charged to
request a refund. In order to receive a refund (less a $9.95 account-processing
fee), a customers must cancel within the first 24 hours of their membership.
After canceling, a customer must request a refund to his/ her credit card.
Depending on the recurring payment plan selected by a
subscriber during the signup process, Highlight Investments Inc. will charge for
access to the requested information on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis. If
a customer was charged on a recurring payment plan, he/she has two days after
the charge to request a refund. In order to receive his/her refund (less a $9.95
account-processing fee), the customers must cancel within this first 2 days
following the recurring charge. After canceling, the customer must request a
refund to his/her credit card.
Highlight Investments Inc. does not issue full or prorated
refunds for monthly and quarterly recurring charges. Highlight Investments Inc.
may however issue a prorated refund for yearly recurring payment plans. In cases
where a customer requests a prorated refund for a yearly charge, he/she must
first request to cancel the service. The customer must then request that we
issue a refund on his/her credit card. Prorated refund amounts are calculated as
the difference between the last payment and the number of full months of service
multiplied by the monthly service rate. A $9.95 account-processing fee will also
be applied.
An example of a refund calculation: A customer was
charged $1,000 for a yearly membership. After 3 1/2 months, he decides to
cancel the service and makes a request for a prorated refund. We will
calculate his refund as follows: We will base our refund calculations on the
premise the customer subscribed to our service for a 4 full months on a
monthly recurring payment plan. Assuming a monthly subscription cost of
$100, we will calculate 4 months * $100 per month = $400 as payment for our
services; in addition, we will add a $9.95 account processing fee.
Therefore, the amount refunded back to the customer's credit card will be:
$1,000 - $400 - $9.95 = $590.05.
